Day 17 so short but so wet

Had another great night in the woods. Set up close to the shelter and battened down the hatches for the storm that hit around midnight. Rained like crazy, but thankfully, no wind or lightning. I was awake early, and once there was a break in the rain, I packed and headed out for the 7.5 miles to the Harpers Ferry Hostel. I’ll spend the night here, then walk into town tomorrow, and my spring hike will officially be over. Not sure what’s next for hiking, but I’ll keep the blog going, until I get home from DC, on Thursday night. Whistler out for now.
