The day started in the clouds and they never really went away. I made the short climb to Bagelo East peak, but nothing to take pictures of- visibility was maybe 59 feet. Then the real work began, as the next 8 miles were down hill mostly over wet rocks and roots. For me, this is the slowest going of all. Once off the mountain the going was easier except for the unbelievable humidity. I literally stumbled into camp on the last of my energy. And lucky I did, as within a couple of minutes the skies opened up and it rained for half the night. I managed to cook and eat before calling it a day. Whistler out and drying out until tomorrow.
