Saturday - May 30, 2026- The hike goes on

Just a quick note to all my followers to let you know that today I start travel back to the AT. I start by flying to Asheville NC, then shuttle to Roan Mountain TN. If my pack arrives in Asheville on the same flight as I do I’ll be walking again Monday morning. I have 400 miles left and plan to finish by the end of June. This section of the trail has the highest elevation , just over 6500’, and looking at the weather may well be pretty wet. I hope to take lots of pictures which I will share along the way.
