Ohio to Quarterway Inn
Made the drive from Solon Ohio to Quarterway Inn, our starting point on the trail this year. It was a perfect day to hike, cool temps and a cool breeze. We hiked a short 6 miles which was a perfect way to get the stiff muscles loosened up after a 6 hour car ride. No wildlife to be seen, unless you count cows or hikers. Tonight is a stay in the hostel but then tomorrow starts a 6 day stint in the woods sleeping in my hammock Our next town destination is Damascus VA where we’ll take a day to rest and resupply.
