Rt 4 to Sabbath Pond Lean To- Nice day of hiking. Got dropped off at 1000 to start south bound. Planned a relatively easy day of 9.5 miles. It’s always tough getting your legs back after time off the trail. Lots of ups and downs but not big climbs or descents. The one impression I came away on my first day in Maine is that the beautiful trails and views are back. I didn’t take a lot of photos because of the thick trees but the area is full of lakes, ponds and marshes. Many more views to come, can’t wait. Whistler signing off until tomorrow.
