Day 15. What a view

Not a lot to say about today. I survived a hazardous climb down off of Mt Everett with only one minor slip. The rocks and especially the roots were very slick but I managed. I would have gotten down quicker but the blueberries were starting to ripen and I sampled as many as I could. The trail went by Great Barrington and up the mountain. I’m now sitting at the shelter watching the mice run back and forth on the seat on the other side. Tomorrow will be a short day I hope, around 13 miles, two shorter than today. The hammock is hung and my belly is growling, so I guess it’s time to cook then off to hide from the skeeters. Until tomorrow....
