Got a late start today due to the schedule at the camp grounds. The office, and therefore, the shuttles back to the trail don’t start until 0800; usually I’m walking by 0630. Today, it wasn’t such a big deal because the plan was for 10 miles and that was done by about 1:30. Today, was a pleasant surprise after yesterday’s total lack of views. We had several that were worth the steps to get there. Seeing lots of NOBO hikers, so I guess we’re in the early bubble headed north. It’s nice to see everyone on the trail, but it can get really crowded, in and around, the shelters at night.
Tomorrow is a long day of 14 miles with a few good climbs and the last night on the trail. Whistler out, to listen to the Eagles for a while.
