Took one of my favorite photos so far. Just before sunrise, I was making my way to the privy, when I noticed a lone hiker sitting on the highest point of Bromley with the sun behind. To me, this is the essence of the hike. Time to pause and think about life. Okay ,so now it’s down off of the mountain and back into the mud. I traveled 17 miles today, to Little Rock Pond. Well worth the walk. Great views of the local ponds and more of the green tunnel. I set up my hammock, ate my dinner and was in my sleeping bag well before hikers midnight.
