Day 31. Back at the Inn

Short 9 miles today. Back to the Inn on the Long Trail by 11 and beat, all but a few sprinkles of rain. Flash floods coming this afternoon and into tomorrow. I’m sure glad to be inside for that. Took my first fall today, and I’m sure glad no one was around. While traversing a bog, jumping from rock to rock, I slipped and landed left side down in gooey, stinky, black mud. Nothing was hurt, but an impromptu “bath” in the next stream helped with my smell, looks and disposition. Oh well, had to happen sooner or later and no injuries, so all is good. Off now, until Sunday. So be well, Whistler signing off until then.
