Day 36. UPS and Downs

Finally getting into some more serious climbs. The vistas are getting better, but the heat is not. Another hot and humid day that just takes the energy right out of my legs. Oh well, I managed my 14 + mile day and was in camp by 4:00. The shelter was empty, but quickly filled with sobo and nobo hikers as well as 6 Boy Scouts on a 5 day out ing. Everyone seemed to have a good time, as did I, it was nice to be around normal people for a change. For whatever reason the current bubble is full of “interesting” people. Signing out for the night, until tomorrow.
