I thought I might wash away in the floods last night but my hammock held strong. It rained down, it rained sideways and it rained most of the night but by sun up the sky had cleared. Today was less rocky than the previous days and that’s welcome. PA isn’t particularly demanding, but it is punishing with all the rocks and scrambles. Met a hiker from last year, “Sir stops a lot” who, like me, is committed to finishing the AT one long section at a time. Tomorrow is a little shorter day and with luck the weather will hold. Whistler signing out to make another freeze dried dinner.
