Harper’s Ferry

WOW. What a neat town. If you haven't been here plan a visit. The history, the pubs, the shops and the people are all great. And so is the scenery. Today was a spectacular day to hike. I only walked about 6 miles, part of that in town but it’s a picture perfect day for it. My spring hike is officially over now that I’m checked into a 19th century Inn for the night. Lots of tourists showing up for the weekend so my timing is good to be off the trail. I’m looking forward to my next AT hike, later in the summer, details still being worked out, so we’ll see. Whistler hanging up his trekking poles for a rest. Stay tuned for the Washington DC adventure.
